Professional Bio

Sara M. Adams

Sara is a bilingual, versatile, and experienced educator and counselling therapist with more than 15 years of experience teaching French language and sciences, yoga, art, and dance, among other subjects. A graduate of Lesley University’s Master of Mental Health Counseling in Expressive Arts Therapy program (May 2025), she is passionate about helping people heal, grow, and thrive through both evidence-based counselling and creative expression.

In her work as a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) and an experienced educator, Sara offers individual and group therapy, facilitates expressive arts and mindfulness programs, and provides professional development for educators. She advocates for dance and arts integration for all ages and abilities, particularly in public schools, and frequently designs and leads training sessions for professionals.

In addition to her counselling practice, Sara freelances as a content creator, workshop facilitator, and consultant. Her work blends the healing potential of the arts with practical tools for personal growth, resilience, and well-being.

Sara resides in Middleton, NS with her husband and two children.
